Ree Drummond has made a name for herself as The Pioneer Woman. Her brand includes a popular Food Network show, a line of kitchenware, and more. She films the Food Network show at her own ranch in Oklahoma. Her Southern charm is a huge part of her appeal.
But what if she moved away from Oklahoma for a new start? The popular homemaker went to college in California. But according to her website, she would say in the Midwest if she left Oklahoma. She revealed Denver, Colorado, would be her next destination.
“The climate is so different there, always a nice change from Oklahoma—especially in the summer,” she said.
Ree Drummond Shares Wholesome Moment With Grandbaby
Fans are always worried that Ree Drummond will leave her cooking show behind. It’s unlikely, but she is absolutely loving her new role as grandmother. The Food Network star has five kids. Her eldest daughter, Alex, welcomed a baby in 2024.
Grandma Ree-Ree recently got to babysit her granddaughter, Sofia. “I got to babysit Sofia in Dallas all weekend (!!) and we dropped by Aunt Paige and Uncle David’s house for a visit. These are definitely the days,” Ree Drummond wrote on Instagram.
She included a video of her other daughter, Paige, and her husband, David, playing with the baby. The couple married earlier this year.

The rude comment was met with immediate backlash. Another person replied that the question was “weird.” Several people pointed out that wearing wedding rings at home isn’t as common these days as it used to be.
One fan explained, “It’s very common nowadays for women to not wear any wedding rings at home – but many do not wear wedding rings outside of the house also – except on special occasions.”
That wasn’t the only rude comment. Another fan critiqued the new mom’s weight loss. They wrote, “What caught my attention was how she was able to get rid of her pregnancy belly within months.”
The follower was quickly corrected that the woman in the video was baby Sofia’s aunt Paige, not her mother, Alex.
