Lake Tahoe Bear Busted Eating Tubs Of Ice Cream
Bears can get into a lot of mischief as they have been spotted in people’s hot tubs and swimming pools. They are also often found roaming backyards and scaring residents. Yet, what if they want a little snack, such as ice cream? A bear out of Lake Tahoe decided they needed to be refreshed, so they snuck into an ice cream parlor. Named Fuzzy, it entered the shop and went on to try a variety of different flavors. Unfortunately for the big brown love, it was caught red-handed behind the parlor counter.

The El Dorado County Sheriff spotted Fuzzy inside the shop, although it did not cause any physical damage. Yes, it dug into a ton of ice cream, all of which had to be replenished, but that was the extent of the destruction. Fuzzy could have knocked over appliances and various equipment, but that did not happen, which is a great thing. Now, this all went down in the middle of the night, so no one was around to get harmed. When authorities caught Fuzzy, they ensured the bear headed back to the wild.
After followers saw the Lake Tahoe footage of the ice cream bandit bear, they could not help but laugh. Many joked that Fuzzy was hot and needed a way to cool down. It is hard to be mad at a bear who is indulging in a sweet treat. Moreover, it looked like it was prepping to work a shift at the parlor behind the counter, which was adorable. One person who lives in the area confirmed that the ice cream is amazing, so Fuzzy chose the right parlor.
One Smart Bear
No one who read this story was even the slightest bit mad about the bear entering the ice cream shop. Moreover, they found this to be a charming tale and were drawn to what happened in Lake Tahoe. Fuzzy was not destructive or mean, but rather looking for a snack:
- It was hot and he wanted a snack. I hope he enjoyed his ice cream.
- He was looking for his favorite flavor – “strawbearry.”
- The economy is so bad even bears are out there working hard for their ice cream!
Some joked that if the bear were to be employed at the parlor, they would definitely pop in for a sweet treat. It was also amazing to see a light-hearted and sweet story. Fuzzy could be great for business in the long run.
