Ree Drummond’s Son Bryce’s Fate Revealed After 2024 Arrest
Ree Drummond’s son, Bryce, was arrested back in 2024 while operating a vehicle. Since then, news has come out about his attempt to appeal a court’s decision. Recent court documents have since shared the Food Network star’s son’s fate.
Ree Drummond’s Son Bryce Was Arrested Back In May 2024 By Stillwater Police
Ree Drummond is famous for her Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman, and her blog of the same name. Through both, Ree has often shared much of her life on the Drummond family’s Oklahoma ranch with fans, as well as her recipes.
Ree married her husband, Ladd, of the prominent Drummond ranching family in 1996. Since then, the couple has had five children together, including her son, Bryce.

As shared by People, Bryce was arrested by Stillwater police on suspicion of controlling a vehicle while intoxicated back in May 2024. At the time, an officer testified that he responded to a report that neighbors were trying to start a fight.
A group of men was seen running into a nearby residence. The reporting party claimed they had “been drinking, trying to start fights, and had been driving around recklessly.”
Staying in the area for about an hour, the officer reportedly observed a Ford F-150 as its lights turned on. He approached the man in the driver’s seat, who was identified as Bryce Drummond.
Bryce’s Attorney Has Also Shared What They Plan To Do Next
Court documents claimed Bryce “demonstrated multiple ‘clues’ indicating intoxication.” This led to the conclusion that he “was in actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.”
At the time, Bryce had his license temporarily revoked by Service Oklahoma. Since then, it has been shared that he recently lost an appeal to get his driver’s license back. This decision was upheld by the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals on August 1, 2025.

As shared by The Oklahoman, a Payne County judge previously dismissed the misdemeanor charge against Bryce back in April. However, a civil action from Service Oklahoma saw him lose his right to drive freely for 180 days. Reportedly, he was permitted to drive with an interlock device that requires a clean breath sample or with an employer’s vehicle.
Bryce had previously hoped to appeal the measure. According to court documents, he argued that “the responding officer’s warrantless entry onto his driveway violated the Fourth Amendment, consequently rendering Mr. Drummond’s subsequent arrest inadmissible as a basis to revoke his driver’s license.”
However, at the start of August, Judge Thomas E. Prince ruled, “We find the trial court correctly determined that the responding officer’s entry onto Mr. Drummond’s driveway was lawful and, accordingly, affirm the trial court’s Final Order sustaining the revocation of Mr. Drummond’s driver’s license.” Bryce’s attorney, Ky Corley, has also shared plans to appeal the decision with the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
