Kate Gosselin’s Son, Collin, Reaches Out To Siblings After Years Of Estrangement
Collin Gosselin has been estranged from much of his family, who previously became household names through Jon & Kate Plus 8, in recent years. However, he recently shared a message for his siblings years later on social media. Since then, fans have been sharing their reactions with the television personality.
Collin Gosselin Recently Shared A Slideshow Of His Siblings On TikTok
Collin and his family rose to fame while appearing on Jon & Kate Plus 8, which ran on Discovery Health before moving to TLC. The series followed the Gosselin family, including Collin and his siblings, which was made up of a pair of twins and a set of sextuplets.
In 2009, Collin’s parents Kate and Jon divorced. The following year, the series was retooled as Kate Plus 8, focusing on Kate as a divorced mother.
When Collin was around 11 years old, his mother, Kate, had him admitted to the Fairmount Behavioral Health Institute, a mental health facility, leaving him there for a few years. In 2018, his father, Jon, was awarded full custody of him.
Since the show aired, Collin has become estranged from most of his family. However, he recently shared a message with his siblings in a recent post on TikTok.
Fans Also Expressed Their Hope That Collin Will Reunite With His Siblings
Collin included two photos in a slideshow set to Adele’s “Hometown Glory.” The first photo showed Collin and his siblings standing with each other. A caption read, “Born to be a team, us against the world…”
The second photo showed Collin by himself in a driver’s seat, donning a pair of sunglasses. This time, the caption read, “Forced to do it alone, and wonder everyday what our lives could’ve looked like.”
Collin continued his message in the caption, writing, “Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids? I will always love them more than anything. The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could’ve shared. I love you guys…”
Over the years, Collin has made various allegations against his mother, claiming that she took her stress over the divorce out on him and separated him from his siblings. Collin’s sister Hannah, who also moved in with Jon, has also shown support for her brother’s claims.
With Collin’s recent post, fans have shown their support in the comments. Many also expressed hope that Collin and his siblings will reconcile one day. Some comments included:

- “I hope your other siblings will reach out but I’m the meantime I am glad that you have Hannah in your corner.”
- “Siblings should never feel like they have to choose sides of their parents. Parents should encourage sibling relationships. You were a child against an adult. You deserved a voice.”
