Country Star Shares Weight Loss Journey

It seems that anything Jelly Roll sets his mind to, he accomplishes. After spending decades in and out of jail, he was determined to get clean and become a successful musician. He reached both of those goals. He’s one of the most popular country performers today after starting his career as a rapper.

He’s currently touring with Post Malone through September. Jelly Roll has been open about his life of crime before fame and his marriage to Bunnie XO. The couple married in 2016. Jelly Roll has children from previous relationships but desperately wants kids with his current wife.

His desire to have more children and live long enough to see them grow up sparked him to start his weight loss journey in 2022.

Like many Gen Xers and older Millennials, Jelly Roll grew up watching professional wrestling back when it was called the WWF. Now known as the WWE, the community suffered a huge loss this month when legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan passed away unexpectedly.

Before he dreamed of being a singer, Jelly Roll fantasized about being a professional wrestler. He fulfills that dream this weekend at SummerSlam. He teams up with Randy Orton to face off with YouTube star Logan Paul and pro wrestler Drew McIntyre.

SummerSlam 2025 is a two-night event on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025. It streams exclusively on Peacock.

Jelly Roll appeared on former WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast earlier this week. He opened up about his weight loss journey.

The singer revealed that he’s back to the same weight he was in middle school. He also shared two shocking new goals.

Jelly Roll Shares Shocking New Goal After Weight Loss

Jelly Roll wants to lose another 100 pounds by the SummerSlam event. Once he’s met his weight loss goal, he wants to be on the cover of Men’s Health magazine next year.

But that isn’t all he sees for his future self. In a shocking admission that he said would make his manager hate him, he revealed that he wants to pose shirtless on a magazine cover in 2027. Jelly Roll said that he’s nowhere near ready for that yet. He plans to get surgery to remove excess skin from the weight loss.

But he’s determined to flaunt his weight loss on the cover of a magazine in two years. Given his track record, he’ll likely reach that goal and any other he sets.

Don’t miss him this weekend at SummerSlam.
