HTGV’s Jenny & Dave Marrs Share Family Tragedy With Fans

HGTV’s Jenny Marrs Shared Heartbreaking News On Social Media
Jenny and Dave are best known for appearing on HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous. Over the years, the show has seen a few spin-offs, such as Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Inn and Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Italiano.
In addition, fans have been following the couple and their family on social media. Recently, the two shared heartbreaking news concerning their family.
On Instagram, Jenny revealed that the family had recently said farewell to their dog, Dolly. In the post, Jenny included a slideshow of photos and videos of their beloved pet with the family.
Jenny opened up by sharing, “I’ll never forget the phone call.” She explained that Dolly was an older bird dog and Dave asked her if she wouldn’t mind an addition to the family. Soon, he asked her owner about bringing her to Arkansas.
Jenny continued, “I urged him not leave there without her. The man knew we had young kids and assumed Dolly was on her last days (he suspected cancer but didn’t want to spend the money on surgery) so he finally agreed to let her come live with us.”
Dolly proved to have more to give with the world. As Jenny explained, “Three surgeries and a few hernias removed later, she went on to live a very full, very free, never in a kennel again, life with us for the next decade.”

Jenny continued to describe her beloved pet, sharing, “She was the best girl. She loved our kids and loved every animal we brought home to the farm. She accepted everyone and loved unconditionally.”
“The pain is too raw right now to properly convey how much Dolly has meant to our family… We would say yes a thousand times over despite the inevitable heartbreak of goodbye. She was absolutely worth it.”

Jenny concluded the post writing, “We will love and miss you always, Dolly-Sue. Eighteen years earthside wasn’t enough. Until we meet again, my girl.”
