Khloé Kardashian Pushes Back After Tristan Says 7-Year-Old Daughter’s ‘Shorts Too Short’
Khloé Kardashian has been co-parenting her children with her ex, Tristan Thompson. During a recent episode of her podcast series, the star touched on a moment when she and Tristan disagreed about what their daughter was wearing. Through the moment, Khloé touched on her response and what it was like raising her children with her ex.
Khloé Kardashian Shared A Moment With Tristan Thompson & Their Daughter On Her Podcast
Khloé first rose to fame appearing with her family in various reality shows, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She even starred in a few spin-offs, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons, and Khloé & Lamar. She is also known through the female fashion brand, Good American.
In her personal life, Khloé started a relationship with basketball player Tristan Thompson in 2016. The two share a daughter, True, 7, and a son, Tatum, 2. While Khloé and Tristan have split up, the two continue to co-parent their children.
Khloé recently opened up about sharing responsibility over her children during a recent episode of her podcast series, Khloé in Wonder Land. During the discussion, she brought up the idea of either her or Tristan introducing a significant other to their children.
Khloé admitted that there are times when she and Tristan don’t see eye-to-eye when dealing with their kids. She thought back on one moment when Tristan made a comment on what True was wearing.
Khloé recalled, “Like which Tristan’s not wrong, but he’s like, don’t you think those shorts are too short on her?” This caused her to think, “And I’m like, you want to almost be like, ‘Yeah, she’s my kid,’ but it’s our kid. But you just want to have that ownership.”
Khloé Admitted That There Was A Lot To Consider During The Moment
While contemplating her response, Khloé felt the shorts were fine for the situation. She shared, “But I’m like, ‘Yes, they’re short, but we’re just hanging out at the house pool,’ because I will send pictures to him or whatever.”
This caused Khloé to consider the pros and cons of co-parenting. She continued, “You still want to let your co-parent be the parent as much as they want to. And you also have to give them grace, give yourself grace.”

However, reminded herself that Thompson was just doing what he thought was right. She shared, “Yes, the shorts are short, but we’re at home lounging. So let me explain the context of those photos. So sometimes I do get defensive internally and I have to remind myself, no, this is good.”
“And that is an emotional battle I have between myself. I can’t be like, ‘No, this is my kid.’ I have to allow Tristan to be the dad too.”
