‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Adds New Element For Season 10

After ABC yanked it from the 2024 schedule, Bachelor In Paradise is back in 2025, bigger and better. The network has already revealed several huge changes to the show, including the addition of Bachelor Nation royalty Hannah Brown. Now, another element viewers will see on Season 10 has been revealed. Keep reading for all the exciting details, and to find out how to watch the season premiere.
What To Know About New Bachelor In Paradise Season
Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise was a bust by comparison to previous seasons, especially Season 7, which spawned several marriages. Three couples got engaged on Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise. While Riley Christian and Maurissa Gunn’s engagement didn’t last long, two other couples got married. Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in 2022, followed by a bigger ceremony the next year. Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin got married in November 2023. They had another wedding on the Bachelor In Paradise Season 9 finale.
The Season 7 finale saw Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs end their relationship. However, they got back together and tied the knot in October 2023, shortly after welcoming their first son, Benny.
Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb also reconciled after breaking up on the beach. They got married in 2024.
Season 9 ended in three engagements, but all of the couples broke up shortly after the show. Failed relationships aside, Season 9 also struggled in the ratings, which led to ABC taking it off the air for a year to revamp it.
Wells Adams and Jesse Palmer are returning for Season 10 as bartender and host, respectively. But in a surprising move, Hannah Brown joins Season 10 as “Paradise Relations.” She previously made a guest appearance on Season 9 to host a bonfire for the contestants.
Bachelor In Paradise viewers are used to seeing the stunning beaches of Mexico, listening to the contestants complain about the heat, and seeing the occasional crab invasion. But Season 10 moves to Costa Rica, with the contestants in individual air-conditioned rooms at a fancy resort. But don’t worry, there will still be crabs, at least on the beach.
Another Exciting Element Revealed
A new promo revealed another exciting element to Season 10. Many fans suggested Bachelor In Paradise could learn a few things from Peacock’s Love Island USA dating show. It seems the network took the advice to heart. According to reality TV fans, the promos so far for Season 10 have had a similar feel to Love Island promos.
And there’s something else. The new BIP promo reveals that the Season 10 contestants will have challenges throughout the season. While it hasn’t been revealed what the prizes are, the change gives shades of the Bachelor Pad spinoff that ran for three seasons from 2010 until 2012. Unlike Bachelor In Paradise, the winners of Bachelor Pad received a cash prize, not an engagement. The official Bachelor Nation YouTube has been sharing full episodes from Season 3 of Bachelor Pad. All three seasons are available to stream on Hulu.
The Season 10 preview clip gives a glimpse at the new challenges. Wells Adams appears to host a twerking contest. Elsewhere in the clip, the contestants are on Jet skis, though it’s unclear if that’s a challenge or just a fun adventure.
The preview also gives the first glimpse at the Golden contestants descending on the beach.
