Family Shares How Ms. Kay Roberston Is Handling Death Of Husband Phil
The Robertson family of Duck Dynasty fame recently endured the loss of their beloved patriarch, Phil Robertson. Since then, fans have grown concerned over his spouse, Ms. Kay. Recently, a member of the family has given an update about the Robertson matriarch during this time. This also comes out following a previous update concerning Ms. Kay.
The Duck Dynasty Family Recently Suffered A Tragic Loss Ahead Of The Revival’s Premiere
The original Duck Dynasty series revolved around the Robertson family and their Duck Commander business, which specialized in items for duck hunters. After the original A&E series ran from 2012 to 2017, a follow-up series, Duck Dynasty: The Revival, premiered earlier this June.
Tragically, however, the family saw the loss of patriarch Phil Robertson on May 25, 2025. He was 79 at the time of his death. This also came out after he had been dealing with a variety of health issues, including an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
Since then, the family has kept fans updated on social media as they’ve been paying tribute to Phil’s memory. Recently, Lisa Robertson had shared an update concerning her mother-in-law, affectionately known to fans as “Ms. Kay.”
As Duck Dynasty fans know, Lisa is married to Alan Robertson, the oldest of Phil and Kay’s sons. Recently, Lisa took to Facebook to share an update concerning Ms. Kay.
In the post, Lisa Robertson shared, “Just an FYI. Ms. Kay is doing fine. Said she feels better than she has in a long time. She’s still grieving but she is not in medical distress. Keep praying for her! The prayers are working!”
This comes out after members of the family previously shared concerns over Ms. Kay’s health following her husband’s passing. As previously reported, her son Willie had spoken with USA Today Network, revealing, “Kay is not in the best of health. We’re trying to help her out as much as we can.”
Fans Also Shared Their Reactions To The Update, Noting They Were Keeping Ms. Kay In Their Prayers
Willie continued, “Some of it is she is just depressed. She lost her partner of 60 years.”
At the time, fans had also seen Ms. Kay during the first episode of Duck Dynasty: The Revival. However, it was also shared that she wouldn’t be appearing as much in later episodes, at least for the time being.
With Lisa’s recent post, many fans shared some relief at hearing this update. Many also noted that they were keeping Ms. Kay in their prayers. Some comments included:
