Nikki DeLoach Reveals New Hallmark Movie With ‘LHOTP’ Reboot Costar
Nikki DeLoach has reunited with her Our Holiday Story costar, Warren Christie, for the upcoming Hallmark Fall movie Home Turf. This is one of many projects that the Five More Minutes star has been working on this year.

Nikki DeLoach And Warren Christie Reunite For New Hallmark Movie Home Turf
Hallmark fans love the network’s Fall Into Love programming and this year, there will be a special reunion. Speaking to US Magazine, Nikki DeLoach revealed that she and Warren Christie reunited recently to film a fall movie. “I’m doing a movie called Home Turf that comes out in the fall. I filmed it in Utah and wrapped it about a month ago. It’s great.”
It’s football, it’s romance, it’s college campuses, it’s multi-generational, it’s funny. Warren Christie is my costar again. We’e been reunited from Christmas. And I gotta tell you, I have not had this much fun on a set in a really long time. I’m so excited about this movie!
This is one of three projects that Nikki is part of. The other two are of her own creation.
Nikki DeLoach In New Hallmark Mysteries But Not Curious Caterer
Sleuthers will be interested to learn that Nikki DeLoach has also filmed two mysteries in 2025. They are tentatively called True Justice: Eye For An Eye and True Justice: Lost Love. Nikki and her writing partner Megan McNulty created this series and wrote all the scripts. Moreover, Nikki portrays Professor Ambrose. Also starring in this series is Benjamin Ares as D.A. Quinn, Katherine McNamara as Casey Barlowe, and Marina Tarasiuk as Eli Flint.
The True Justice movies were filmed earlier in the year. However, Hallmark has no plans to film any Curious Caterer Mysteries in the near future. Nikki’s popular series with Andrew W. Walker is currently in limbo as the network appears to be figuring out its plans for mysteries. As former executive Lisa Hamilton Daly was the mystery champion, the new regime does not seem to have a plan for its mystery content.
This situation could certainly change. However, it does not look very promising for Curious Caterer fans.
Warren Christie Starring In Little House On The Prairie Reboot
Nikki DeLoach is not the only one with a lot of news. Her Hallmark costar, Warren Christie, has some big news this week. According to Deadline, Christie will portray John Edwards in the Little House On The Prairie reboot. Edwards is “a Civil War veteran from Tennessee. Edwards is a gregarious and mysterious man who catches the eye of every single woman in the county (maybe some of the married ones too). In the original LHOTH he was called Isiah Edwards and Victor French portrayed him. Dr. Edwards was in the original books.
