‘Teen Mom’ Catelynn Lowell Catfished As She Preys On Carly’s Friends

When she was still in high school, Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell gave up her daughter, Carly, for adoption. This was incredibly hard for her and her now husband, Tyler Baltierra. They had rough home lives and believed it was for the best. It was also an open adoption, so they were still able to see Carly. Unfortunately, over time, Carly’s parents, Brandon and Teresa, blocked Catelynn and Tyler. They stated that they needed some time away from the young couple, but Cate and Tyler continued on about Carly.
They bashed Brandon and Teresa and were relentless. At the end of the latest The Next Chapter season, Cate and Tyler received a clip of Carly singing. However, Brandon and Teresa would only permit them to listen to the song on camera. Now, it appears that Catelynn has taken matters into her own hands by texting one of Carly’s friends. Carly is only sixteen, so her friends would be around that same age, and, initially, Cate was skeptical of the recipient. She had heard that Carly did not have a friend by the name of the texter, so she wanted to verify some information.

It is clear that this is not the only friend that the Teen Mom star reached out to, as she stated she spoke to another person Carly knows. That was how she knew the recipient of the texts likely did not know her daughter. The friend did say that Carly wanted to speak with Catelynn and Tyler, so Cate wanted to set up a call when they were at school. She was probing this person, and regardless of whether it was a catfish or not, why was she stalking a child?
So Many Questions & Suspicions
Teen Mom fans who saw this exchange were extremely bothered by it all. They felt that Catelynn Lowell was completely out of line for reaching out to Carly’s teenage friends. More so, she was trying to convince Carly to call her behind her parents’ backs, and that was awful. Fans had a very strong reaction and quickly expressed their disdain:

No one was happy with Catelynn’s behavior, and further understood why Brandon and Teresa cut ties. Now, Cate may have to come out and share if it was really her and why she would do such a thing.
