Sorry. The whole notion of treasure on Oak Island is a lie, and always has been. Start with a known fable; boys on an adventure. Yet the named boys were actually adults who had once lived on the island. There is no record of them either finding treasure or even looking for it. Not until 1849 when a treasure license was sought. You know… 49’ers. Gold in dem dar hills? That’s when the scam began, as to that date nothing of record ever documented the treasure search. Besides, in the 1700’s the island was owned by a fishing company which explains the activity on the island at that time. People also lived there. No mystery. But yeah, there is absolutely no rational nor historical basis for treasure on the island. Even the original story is suspect. Like who buries the Ark of the Covenant and leaves a tackle block hanging over it. If that story was true… and it isn’t… you’d think maybe someone dug something up rather than deposited any treasure.

The TV show is not a scam . They have showed the excitement and disappointment . The Ten Commandments in the Ark of the Covenant , went somewhere even if the gold was stripped , My philosophy on Oak Island is give me the daily weather on the island for past 2000 yrs. and I’ll tell you odds of anything there . Yes, I read the report on Oak Island and it is impressive the drilling depths have always been pretty close

Not a lie at all! How do you explain all the tunnels and artifacts found? There was obviously something going on there!
