The TLC show Sister Wives brought exposure to the Mormon lifestyle and culture. The Brown family is part of a Mormon fundamentalist group that allows polygamy. When the show premiered in 2010, Kody Brown had four wives, Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn. Now, only Robyn remains after the other wives left the plural marriage, though they all still appear on the show. Season 19 is currently airing.

A Mormon housewife went viral on TikTok in 2022 after revealing that she and her husband were “soft swingers” in an open relationship. The resulting scandal caught the attention of streaming service Hulu. The first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was a massive hit. The first season eventually aired on ABC, which also airs the Bachelor reality TV dating franchise.

Eagle-eyed viewers of the ABC franchise were shocked to spot a BIP star on Season 2 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Keep reading for all the details.

Season 2 Of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Premieres On Hulu

According to Deadline, the success of the first season led to Hulu ordering 20 more episodes of Secret Lives. Season 2 of the popular reality show premiered on Hulu on Thursday, May 15. The streamer dropped ten episodes at once, which means there are another 10 episodes, perhaps for a Season 3.

The first season of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives made its debut on network television in January 2025, airing after episodes of Season 29 of The Bachelor. ABC also aired the first season of Paradise, another hit Hulu original starring This Is Us alum Sterling K. Brown.

Season 2 of SLOMW will likely air on ABC at some point, but the network hasn’t revealed when.

Bachelor Nation Fans Shocked To See BIP Star

Season 2 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives just hit Hulu, but some fans have already binge-watched all ten new episodes. Bachelor Nation fans who watch the Hulu show spotted a familiar face in one episode.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed Hakeem Moulton in the background at a Halloween party filmed for the reality show. Viewers first met him as a contestant on Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season. He was sent home in Week 3, but made a big impression on viewers with his expressive facial reactions.

Hakeem Moulton and Jonathon Johnson were the first two contestants announced for Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise. ABC has only announced the names of three more cast members – Bachelor third-place runner-up Zoe McGrady, Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima, and Golden Bachelorette contestant Gary Levingston. However, a video surfaced online earlier this week of a major name allegedly filming for BIP.

According to social media users, Hakeem Moulton is a huge fan of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. One Bachelor Nation fan online revealed that Hakeem has a connection to the stars of the Hulu show.

“I think he’s friends with Demi and her husband? I don’t watch the show but I saw he posted with them for Easter,” a Bachelor Nation fan claimed.

Hakeem Moulton is filming BIP right now, so he didn’t share a reaction online about appearing on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Did you catch his unexpected cameo?
