‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Amanda Halterman Hospitalized After Grandbaby’s Birth
Amanda Halterman recently welcomed her new grandson into the world just in time for Mother’s Day. However, around this time, Amanda soon found herself in the hospital for other reasons. The reality TV personality has been sharing the story with fans of 1000-lb Sisters on social media.
The 1000-lb Sisters Star Had Good News & Bad News To Share With Fans
Fans of 1000-lb Sisters know Amanda as the sister of Tammy and Amy. However, Amanda recently welcomed a new member to the family.
Amanda’s eldest son Braxton and his fiancée Audrey recently welcomed their son, Carter, into the world. With Carter’s birth, Amanda is now a grandmother. However, Amanda recently shared shocking news shortly after the birth of her grandson.
In a recent video on Instagram, Amanda shared that she was spending Mother’s Day at the hospital. Keeping a positive outlook, she wrote in the caption, “No matter where I am being a momma is the best thing I’ve ever done. Happy Mother’s Day, y’all!!”
In the video, Amanda opened up saying, “Well, my friend, it has been a journey. This is my third day here at the hospital. I was able to see my grandson born on the 7th.”
However, the happy moment soon took a turn. She continued, “I was symptomatic that day. Left an Airbnb and come back home and finally brought myself to the ER because I’ve been lethargic, and sleep for days, not eating and drinking, So lots of tests still no answers but God is good. And I want all of you Mamas to know that today is Mother’s Day.”
Amanda Halterman Shared A Follow-Up Post A Few Hours Later
Amanda then continued with a message for mothers around the world. And no matter where you are or where your children are, I hope that you know that you are you are loved and appreciated and that you all keep looking out for yourselves. Advocate for ourselves. All of us together as a whole. We all gotta do better.”
“So, anyway, happy Mother’s Day to those people.It’s a quick update from me. But I’m still thankful and blessed even though I’m here in the hospital.”

“You all take care of each other and be kind because it costs you nothing. And remember to do the right thing when no one’s looking. Cause at the end of the day, you gotta be okay with who you are when you look at yourself in the mirror.
In a follow-up post shared a few hours later, Amanda shared a photo of herself holding her grandson. During the post, she even revealed her “grandma name.” As the caption read, “Being a Lolly for the last 5 days has been such a huge blessing. God I am so thankful for every single one of the blessings you have given me everyday.”
