Lifetime Shocks With Emotional Naomi Judd Docuseries
On April 30th, 2022, Naomi Judd took her own life, and it was tragically heartbreaking for everyone who knew and loved her. Along with her daughter, Wynonna Judd, they were set to head out on tour for the first time in a decade. To see The Judds perform together yet again was a huge deal for fans, and they were more than ready for this. Unfortunately, Naomi’s demons took hold, and she ended her life. Rather than let down the fans who were ready to see The Judds take the stage, Wynonna went out in honor of her late mother. She noted that she could feel her presence at every stop.

Naomi’s death also brought Wynonna and her sister, actress Ashley Judd, closer than they could have ever imagined. Now, Naomi’s legacy lives on in a shocking yet emotional two-part Lifetime docuseries. One of the clips shows Ashley and Naomi’s widower, Larry Strickland, listening to unheard recordings. Ashley closes her eyes to take her mother in. It features Wynonna, as this was the beginning of their time performing together. The moment she hears it, she cannot help but sing along and loves it so much.

It does not hurt that it will air on Mother’s Day weekend, and that can tug at anyone’s heartstrings. What they have all unearthed is shocking, as they are uncovered gems. Yet, it is so beautifully done, and fans are ready to see this sad story unfold over two nights.
Broken Hearts
