Candace Cameron Bure recently shared a video with fans on social media. Since then, she’s been getting responses from various prominent names. One fellow former child star, Danica McKellar, even came up with a new nickname for the star.

A New Nickname, From One Former Child Star To Another

Bure is arguably best known to fans for D.J. Tanner on Full House and Fuller House. In recent years, she’s become well-known for her work with Hallmark and later Great American Media, even serving as its chief content officer.

Over the years, Bure has often fans updated about her life with social media. A recent video from the star has recently been getting attention from quite a few names.

Taking to Instagram, Bure donned a pair of pink roller skates, paired with a rose gold-colored helmet. ILON’s “Skater Girls” played as Bure had fun skating around a local park.

Bure teased in the comments, “Channeled my inner [Tony Hawk], and yeahhh, I’d say I nailed it?!” The Full House star also issued the warning, “The actions in this video are performed by a professional, so for your safety and the protection of those around you, do not attempt any of the stunts you’re about to see.” Some of the more elaborate “stunts” placed focus squarely on the skates, suggesting it was all meant in good fun, with tongue planted firmly in cheek.

Many fans, including other actors, shared their reactions to the video in the comments. Actress and mathematician Danica McKellar even came up with a nickname for Bure. As the Wonder Years star wrote, “Adorable! Roller Skate Barbie!!,” likely in reference to Bure rocking various shades of pink.

Fitness and wellness expert Kira Stokes also took note of Bure’s video. Touching on the benefits of skating, she noted, “Immediately adds roller skating to the list of conditioning options for you…” Bure herself responded to this with a bunch of “Tears of Joy” emojis.

Celebrity coach and trainer Neda Soderqvist also hinted she’d be happy to team up with Bure as a skating buddy. As she wrote, “Let’s go!!!! I have pink skates lol I’ve been dancing around and my skates for the last few weeks. This just made my day seeing you and then let’s hold hands and skate down the hill.”
