Melissa Roxburgh Returns To ‘Tracker’ With ‘Mysterious Piece of Family’s Past’
Melissa Roxburgh is returning to Tracker Season 2, Episode 19. The Hunting Party star will reprise her role as Dory Shaw on the penultimate episode of the CBS adventure series. In this new episode, Dory will reveal to her brother Colter Shaw a “mysterious piece of family’s past.”

Melissa Roxburgh Is Back As Dory Shaw In Upcoming Tracker Episode
Tracker fans are getting one of their biggest Season 2 wishes. Dory Shaw is reuniting with her brother Colter Shaw. According to a TV Insider exclusive, Melissa Roxburgh is returning to the CBS series for Season 2, Episode 19 “Rules Of The Game.” The Season 2 penultimate episode will premiere on Sunday, May 4.
What happens in this episode? “Reenie (Fiona Rene) urgently calls Colter for help when Leonard Sharf’s (Pej Vahdat) assistant gets kidnapped ahead of the launch of his new business. Also, Colter visits his sister, Dory.”
Moreover, executive producer Elwood Reid shares, “Colter’s sister Dory, delivers a mysterious piece of the Shaw family’s past.” It was previously revealed that Dory was holding back some information.
This continues the two-season thread of what happened to Colter’s father, Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen). For the longest time, Colter Shaw thought that his brother Russell (Jensen Ackles) was responsible for their father’s death. Now, it seems that this may not be the truth. There is more to this story and Dory has more keys to the puzzle.
However, this mystery will not be solved in Season 3. Justin Hartley has previously stated that he doesn’t like things to be easily wrapped up “in a pretty little bow” for the season finale. He wants this story to unfold naturally.
Now that CBS has renewed Tracker for Season 3, there is an opportunity for Colter to continue to investigate what happened to his father.

Melissa Roxburgh Wants To Come Back For Season 3
Recently, Melissa Roxburgh confirmed to the publication that she had filmed an episode of Tracker Season 2. Now that this is over, she is already thinking of Season 3. “I got to go play with them again. It was just short and sweet. But hopefully, there’s more for the next season because I know they got another season.”
This episode is just before the big meetup between Colter and his mother. Just last week, Wendy Crewson revealed that she is in the season finale “Echo Ridge.” Crewson portrays Colter’s mother, Mary Dove Shaw. She shared, “I play Justin Hartley’s mom. Wait until y’all see the finale. We just filmed it in Vancouver. It’s great! Buckle up.”
