Kylie Jenner and actor Timothée Chalamet were recently seen together at an event. However, some fans suspect the couple might have had an ulterior motive, especially during a public display of affection. Notably, this also comes out as the two were seen having a more awkward display of affection last month.
Kylie Jenner & Timothée Chalamet Have Been A Couple Since 2023
Jenner first came to prominence on the series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She also appears on the Hulu series, The Kardashians. Over the years, she has also become known for her company, Kylie Cosmetics, and her prominent social media following on Instagram.
As of April 2023, Jenner has been known for her relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet of Dune fame. Recently, a public display of affection between the couple ended up sparking headlines.
This past Sunday, the couple could be seen attending Coachella together. This notably came out after rumors concerning the couple came out after an awkward kiss at a recent tennis match, with fans noting that Chalamet did not appear to kiss Jenner back.
Notably, Jenner’s ex, Travis Scott, was set to perform a show. Scott and Jenner share two children together, Stormi and Aire.
Jenner and Chalamet could be seen putting on a united front at the event, appearing closely with each other and holding hands. However, the fact that the two were seen being affectionate in front of Scott was not lost on fans.
As noted by Daily Mail, one fan wrote that the two attending Scott’s show together was “day Travis is performing is diabolical idk.” Another mused, “Right on time for Travis Scott.”
Some fans also made comparisons with other celebrity couples. As one fan wrote, “They are stalking Travis. Imagine if Hailey did this with Selena, she would get dragged all over the internet,” with Justin Bieber’s love life in mind.
This Came Out After The Two Were Noted To Have Had An Awkward Exchange During A Recent Tennis Match
As mentioned, this came out after Jenner and Chalamet had an awkward exchange at a tennis match last month. The two were seen at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.
At the time, the two appeared to have a stilted kiss and an awkward conversation. According to forensic lipreader Jeremy Freeman, Kylie wanted to take a kiss photo with Chalamet. However, he told her, “Wait a minute, love,” with his eyes focused on the court.
Chalamet appeared to keep his eyes open as Kylie gave him a kiss. The actor appeared to have gotten hurt, with a laughing Jenner asking, “Are you ok?” The actor assured her, “No problem, I’m good, don’t worry about it.” He later told her, “Watch the point, watch the point.”
At the time, fans reacted to the awkward exchange on social media. As one fan wrote, “Him not kissing her back and her kissing him w her eyes open is making me cringe.” Another shared, “This is me kissing my cat.”
Fans also emphasized the importance of context. As was noted, “But this also comes across a bit yikes because he is clearly into the match and not her in that moment so she looks a bit performative. But I say in that moment because who knows how he was otherwise. Moments in time don’t a story tell.”
