‘View’ Ana Navarro Mocks John Cena Over Claims He Was Bullied
Wrestlers make a career out of being tough, but their feelings can get hurt just like everyone else. Recently, John Cena himself shared a story about him being bullied. However, one of the co-hosts of The View shared mixed feelings over the story.
John Cena Talked About Being Bullied During An Appearance On The Pat McAfee Show
For many people, Cena is best known as a wrestler, with him starting his career in 1999, after initially considering becoming a professional bodybuilder. He has also been signed to WWE since 2001.
In recent years, many have also been introduced to Cena from his various acting roles. He’s appeared in films like The Marine, Trainwreck, and Ferdinand. He has also appeared as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad and the character’s namesake television series.

Cena recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show where he admitted getting hair transplants after going through “straight up bullying” from viewers over his bald spot. After being told his hair still looked “good” by the panel. he shared, “So, thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement. Like that’s how far y’all push me.”
During a recent episode of The View, the co-hosts started a discussion about how men feel about their looks at the Hot Topics table.
Alyssa Farah Griffin felt, “It’s a myth that men don’t get insecure about their looks.” She also felt that, “At least [women] can do things like put on makeup and make ourselves feel a little better, clip in hair extensions. Straight men don’t really do that. You have to wake up and live in the face that you have that day!”
Cena’s Comments Soon Became A Topic Of Discussion With The Co-Hosts Of The View
Sunny Hostin noted that “it’s not nice to be bullied” and pointed out Cena’s recent comments. As she shared, he was “bullied that man into getting a surgical procedure.”
However, Ana Navarro shared some doubts over taking Cena’s comments at face value. As she put it, “Oh, please. They didn’t bully. He’s John Cena. Nobody bullied him. He’s being, I think, tongue-in-cheek.”

For her part, Sara Haines disagreed. She noted that she appreciated how Cena and “a group of men” were “calling out what bullying is.” Haines added, “I thought it was good that he called it out because it’s usually directed at other people or punching down at other people.” Griffin similarly thanks Cena for showing “that a big, tough guy could feel insecure about their looks.”
Navarro revealed that she actually knew a bit about hair transplants, saying someone in her family underwent one. She explained the head often had to be shaved so the hair could be transplanted, causing people undergoing the process to wear a hat.
