‘GMA’ Robin Roberts Was Out For A Week, What’s Going On?
Robin Roberts has missed a week of action on Good Morning America. While hosts often take breaks and vacations throughout the year, Robin’s absence concerned many fans. Many wondered where she was, others wondered if she was ever coming back, and some mostly knew she was just taking a short break. Robin recently let fans know where she has been and when she should be back.

Robin Roberts Explains Why She Was Gone From Good Morning America
There is one big difference between Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts. When Michael misses Good Morning America episodes, he never talks about why he was gone and keeps his private life private. However, when Robin misses time on the show, she often pops onto social media to let fans know what is going on, keeping them connected to her personal life.
Robin, 64, was enjoying a mid-spring break from GMA. However, fans were wondering where she was. There was even one person on X who claimed that Robin was “once again playing hooky” from her job (via The U.S. Sun). The last time that Robin was on GMA was on April 3. Rebecca Jarvis filled in for her. She missed Friday, April 4, and then the entire next week.
However, as Robin’s fans expected, she showed up on social media to let people know where she was. She posted some photos and a video and said she was in her “happy place.” That “happy place” is Key West.
Robin posted that she was at Key West with her fellow Good Morning America anchor Giovani “Gio” Benitez, his husband Tommy, Emily Kaufman, and Robin’s wife Amber. In the photos of their trip, they also showed their dog, Lukas.
