‘Live’ Kelly & Mark Share Their 1.2 Million Square Foot New Studio
For a while now, the hosts of Live with Kelly & Mark have been excited about their big move. Filming is about to look a little different when Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos unveil their new studio in just a few days.
But until then, the show must go on.
Live fans won’t get a chance to see the big studio reveal until April 14. But until then, Mark and Kelly are having a blast telling their viewers about the new space.
Live Hosts Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Dish On Their Massive New Studio
Saying goodbye to a familiar space isn’t easy. However, it seems the Live cast and crew agree the studio move is the right decision. While filming the talk show in the temporary space, Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa happily dished on upgrades and benefits.
“For decades, we’ve been broadcasting from the Upper West Side at 7 Lincoln Square,” Mark shared during a new episode. “And today we are coming to you from our new home downtown! This is the great room within the Walt Disney company’s headquarters. I would say it’s state-of-the-art.”
Kelly agreed, adding that their new building boasts 1.2 million square feet and 22 stories. She admitted she wasn’t even sure what floor they were filming on.
Although the current filming space isn’t permanent, it seems they still had plenty of space for a live audience.
The New Live Studio Has Great Amenities & Features For Employees
The new building also features several great amenities to bolster employee engagement. Kelly and Mark discuss the stunning outdoor terraces, the reading room, and multiple wellness rooms. Even better, the new facility happily accommodates new mothers with special nursing stations.
“Back in the day, and everybody that works here can attest, the former nursing station used to be the makeup and hair room during the briefing meeting. I would just say, ‘Look away if you can’t handle it!'” Kelly declared.
Over the past few days, the Live hosts have enjoyed sharing photos of their new studio on social media. The interview space boasts a stunning view of the New York City cityscape.

Fans Want Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos To Tweak One Detail
Although many Live viewers are excited to see Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos film in their new setting, they’re not pleased with every aspect.
As TV Shows Ace previously noted, many viewers have commented on a distracting echo in the new space. Thankfully, the current filming space is just temporary. Kelly and Mark will be moving into their official interview space very soon, which will likely have more stable acoustics.

I was waiting on the new show and place. I was hoping at least…the least …Kelly would have a new wardrobe. She looks like an orphan!!! I’ve been a hairstylist for a long time now, and she has pretty hair, but will part it in the middle and just let it hang!!!! Never fixes it, or does anything different with it and just tries to cover the roots. BLESS!!!!!!!
