‘American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe Shares Heartbreaking Loss
Mike Wolfe of American Pickers fame recently took to social media share a tragic loss in his life. In addition, Wolfe shared a photo and a lengthy story about his past. Fans have also taken to social media to share their condolences over the story.
American Pickers‘ Mike Wolfe Had A Story To Share With Fans
On American Pickers, Wolfe and a co-host travel across the United States in the search for antiques all in the hopes of finding lost treasures. Until 2022, Wolfe had hosted the series with Frank Fritz, who himself tragically passed away in 2024.
Wolfe often shares updates about his life on social media, from occasional new treasures to people he has met over the years. Recently, however, Wolfe shared some tragic news in a recent post on Instagram.
As Wolfe explained, he recently endured the loss of his friend, JP. The American Pickers host shared the news with a photo and a story.
As Wolfe started, “20 years ago I bought a camera and a box of Mini DV tapes and started shooting my adventures picking across America. The show was just a dream back then for a guy that was sleeping in his van and knocking on doors.”
Wolfe Also Touched On An Upcoming Episode Of American Pickers
“But even then I knew how impactful and inspiring each collectors story could be to all of us….This is Nora Danny and I filmed with her a few days ago but I met her and her husband JP back in 2017 When we shot an episode of American Pickers with them. Her and JP have devoted their lives to their passions and collecting. With them both being artists and visual merchandisers you can only image the funky beautiful pieces they came across together.”
“JP has unfortunately passed so what we shot recently was a tribute to a life well lived and the beauty that still remains thru all of his work. Nora’s energy has made such an impact on my life and Danny’s I can’t wait for you all to meet her.”

In the accompanying photo, Wolfe can be seen with Nora. In addition, his American Pickers co-star, Danielle Colby, can be seen alongside them.
Taking to the comments, many fans shared their condolences with Wolfe over the news. A few also appreciated how Wolfe shared his story with them. Some comments included:

As previously reported, American Pickers has already been picked up for more seasons. Two seasons are expected following Season 26, which wrapped up this past January. This means fans may soon get to see with episode featuring JP and Nora.
