On Thursday, Hallmark And the NFL made a big announcement. After the massive success of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story starring Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, they are repeating this successful collaboration. According to US Magazine, they are taking a page from the highly-publicized Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen romance. Allen is the super talented Buffalo Bills quarterback.
Therefore, it is no surprise that the next movie in this series is Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story. This movie will be the crown of the 16th annual Countdown to Christmas. This is the first 2025 Christmas movie officially announced by the network.
On Wednesday, Hallmark hinted on social media that there would be some big Christmas news. Later in the evening, they shared a video featuring Damar Hamlin, the Bills safety.
Darren Abbott, the Chief Brand Officer shared a statement about this repeat venture. “The incredible success of last year’s partnership with the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs far exceeded our expectations.”
We are thrilled to team up with the Bills this year for a new holiday movie filled with heart, family and the classic Hallmark storytelling that our fans know and love, all set against the special community the Bills franchise has nurtured throughout its storied history.
Included in the storied history is the fact that the Buffalo Bills have never won a Super Bowl, having lost four in a row in the early 90s. Of the teams who have never won, they tie the Minnesota Vikings with four Super Bowl losses. It should be noted that the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos have each lost five Super Bowls, but they have each won the big event.
Therefore, this story could certainly include the biggest wish of all Bills fans. They want to go to the Super Bowl and win.

Who Is Starring In New NFL-Themed Christmas Movie?
Hallmark has shared that specific details have not been set. That includes who is starring in this movie. They do expect to start filing in “the coming months.” This is such a high-profile movie that the leads will certainly include the most popular of the network.
Last year, Tyler Hynes starred. Could this year be Andrew Walker’s turn? Or perhaps Luke Macfarlane, or another big name that has not already made a holiday movie, like Wes Brown has. As for female leads, perhaps Erin Cahill, Lacey Chabert, or Lyndsy Fonseca?
