When Will ‘Fire Country’ New Episodes Return?

Fans of Fire Country tune into Fridays to keep up with the series. However, a recent Friday came and went without a new episode. However, news has come out about whether new episodes are right around the corner.
Fire Country‘s Third Season Premiered This Past October
The series’ premise revolves around Bode Donovan, a young convict who seeks redemption volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program. While there, he joins others to help fight wildfires in his Northern California hometown.
The series is currently on its third season. Notably, the Season 3 opener, “What the Bride Said,” premiered on CBS on October 18, 2024.

The current story is already getting fans invested. Cal Fire is being impacted by dangerous missions, legal troubles, and even a flu outbreak. All the while, Bode’s at risk for a parole violation.
Currently, the series airs new episodes on Friday nights. However, March 21, 2025, recently came and went without a new episode. Despite this, another episode, “One Last Time,” premiered the previous week.
However, fans don’t need to worry about whether or not the show is coming back. However, it will be taking a little break.
There is a simple reason as to why the series is currently taking a little hiatus. CBS is airing some of the games for the 2025 NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament, also known as March Madness. The final game comes out on April 7.
As previously reported, CBS’ soaps were also similarly impacted by the March Madness promotion. Beyond the Gates, The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and the Beautiful saw episodes preempted, with the storylines ending on a Wednesday cliffhanger. At the time, it was noted that this was a national broadcast, meaning episodes weren’t available for streaming, either.
There’s Plenty Of New Content Planned For Fans Of Fire Country
New episodes will be coming back in the new month. The next upcoming episode, “Dirty Money,” will air on April 4, 2025.
The third season still has a few more episodes left for fans to enjoy. Notably, the season is expecting to end with a two-parter airing on April 25, 2025.

As noted by Good Housekeeping, upcoming episodes will see Bode team up with his aunt, Sheriff Mickey Fox, played by actress Morena Baccarin. Together, they will investigate the attempted murder of her estranged father Wes. Things take a turn when they learn Wes is behind an illegal marijuana business.
However, there is still even more to come for fans of Fire Country. As noted by Deadline, CBS has already ordered a fourth season for the series. In addition, a spin-off revolving around Morena Baccarin’s character, titled Sheriff Country, also has a series order.
At the time, CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach shared, “This season, our new and returning series continue to showcase CBS as the leader in launching and programming the biggest hits with mass appeal for broadcast and streaming viewers.”
“These returning shows represent a mix of long-standing hits and a new generation of fan favorites. In collaboration with our extraordinarily talented partners in front of and behind the camera, we look forward to delivering another successful season.”
