This was exactly the case for David Trimble and Madison Myers, who were initially matched with Michelle Tomblin and Allen Slovick, respectively. Despite first denying their connection, the pair eventually came forward with it, throwing a wrench into the season that no one could have predicted.

It turns out, based on the latest updates, David and Madison are, in fact, still a couple. David recently shared a collection of pics with Madison online, and one of them even shows the happy couple celebrating the recent St. Patrick’s Day together.
In one of the collages featuring the happy Married at First Sight couple, David even included the caption: “The Horse has been buried time to keep living and loving baby I love you #MAD.”
So, despite the shady way that these two got together, it seems they found a genuine connection in the end. Married at First Sight storylines are often full of twists and turns, and despite the fact that this one was a turbulent curve ball that no one expected that completely shook things up, it seems to have worked out for the best in the end.

Even though many Married at First Sight fans are still bitter about how David Trimble and Madison Myers got together, some fans are at least acknowledging that they clearly have a genuine connection that has gone beyond the show, or just a dramatic plot point.
