‘Family Feud’ Player Gasps, Steve Harvey Shares His Mom’s Harsh Words
Steve Harvey is a game show host who likes things that take him by surprise. On Family Feud, he refuses to know the questions or answers ahead of time. The show’s producers have no problem with this because they love him to improvise. This is especially easy when the questions seem almost directed at Steve himself.
In a recent question on the popular game show, Steve seemed taken aback by one of the questions. When one woman gave an answer he loved, he then shared a shocking story about his mother’s advice. While the woman seemed horrified at what Steve’s mom said, his delivery was enough to have everyone laughing. Here is what you need to know.
Steve Harvey Deals With Another ‘Bald’ Question On Family Feud
Sometimes, Family Feud seems to attempt to troll Steve Harvey just to see what he says or does in response. That seemed to happen again this week. There were even a couple of answers on the board that made Steve want to quit playing the game right then and there. It also caused him to describe advice his mom gave him that shocked the players.
The question was: “Name 7 things a bald guy does to look more attractive.” Steve seemed taken aback by this because it makes it sound like a bald man is naturally unattractive. However, Steve wasn’t alone. One of the contestants was another bald man who buzzed in. He rubbed his head and said, “shine his head,” which was No. 5.
The opponent said, “Flex his muscles,” which was actually on the board (No. 7) as “Steroids/Muscly.” The bald man, Michael, said they would play, and things went to their team. However, although they had some good answers, things didn’t go well. Kaylah said, “Shave his head bald,” which was the No. 3 answer (“Shave it, keep it clean).
The third player said he should grow his beard. Their teammate who started the game had a big beard. That was on the board at No. 4 with “Grows a stache,” which might reference Steve Harvey. Next, the woman said, “Make sure he is well dressed, like you Steve.”
That is when Steve stopped and told his shocking story.
Steve Harvey’s Mom Said He Would Grow Up Ugly
This is where Steve Harvey paused the game on Family Feud. He told the woman his mother told him that long ago. He then delivers a story with the woman looking horrified by the end, but at least finishes it with a funny punch line.
“She said, ‘Son, you aren’t going to be attractive when you grow up,'” which caused the woman to gasp in shock. “She was just being honest with me. We don’t have attractive men in this family. She said, ‘Go in there and look at your daddy.’ I walked in there and went, ‘damn.’ She said, ‘But every woman loves a well-dressed man.’ Dress up, learn to treat a woman kind, and you’ll get a good girl.”
“Dress Well” was No. 6 on the board. Things got bad after that. The next woman said, “He wears a hat.” Steve looked disgusted at that answer. It was No. 1, and Steve was even more frustrated. He said he wouldn’t wear a hat and didn’t want to play this game anymore. What was worse was when the stealing team said, “Wear a toupee.” When the No. 2 answer was “Buy a wig,” Steve just walked off.
