‘Bachelor’ Zach Shallcross & Kaity Biggar Announce Wedding Date

Kaity Biggar Reveals Wedding Date To Zach Shallcross
Zach Shallcross chose Kaity Biggar from his 30 contestants on Season 27 of The Bachelor. Their relationship hit some bumps in the road when she found out that he slept with one of his other final women. However, she accepted his proposal in the final rose ceremony.
After the reality TV cameras went down, the couple worked hard to solidify their connection. They even attended therapy to help them work through issues easier. Zach sparked split rumors in 2023 after attending a Bachelor Nation event solo.
The couple postponed their wedding plans several times in the last two years, further stoking doubts they’d make it down the aisle.
But Kaity Biggar triumphantly took to social media this week to shut up the naysayers. She revealed that an official wedding date has been set.
Kaity included a video that looks back on her relationship with Zach, starting with her Bachelor audition tape. She included a calendar emoji that showed July 17, 2025.
Why July 17th Might Not Be Real Date
When viewed on a mobile device, the calendar on Kaity Biggar’s post shows July 17th as the wedding date. Is that the real date? According to several Bachelor Nation fans, it likely isn’t the actual wedding date.
They noted that July 17th is the default date on the emoji. Furthermore, it falls on a Thursday, which isn’t a day many people get married. However, the couple did previously mention the possibility of eloping instead of a big wedding. They want to save up money to buy a house.

One fan speculated that the couple might be planning a simple courthouse wedding with another ceremony in the future like Bachelor In Paradise stars Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt did.
Bachelor Fans Celebrate
Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross are one of the recently engaged Bachelor Nation couples that fans want to see go the distance. Fans of the franchise are still waiting for news about Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko’s wedding. Season 28 Bachelor Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson plan to marry in a few years.
Fans and Bachelor Nation stars flooded Kaity Biggar’s comments with reactions to the wedding news. Jesse Palmer, who had a front-row seat to their love story, wrote, “I can’t tell you how happy I am for the two of you.”
A fan wrote, “Best season of the bachelor ever. It was so much more interesting to watch people truly connect without the idiocy of manufactured drama.”
