‘Jenna & Friends’ Fans Want This Co-Host Added Permanently
Since Hoda Kotb retired, Jenna Bush Hager has hosted Jenna & Friends on The Today Show with a rotating group of guest hosts. These hosts have included famous actors and singers, comedians, and celebrities. However, as the weeks roll on, many fans have decided they want one person to remain on as the co-host, and they think they know who they want.
Here is who fans have chosen as the best choice for Jenna’s new permanent co-host.
Who Do Fans Want As Jenna & Friends Permanent Co-Host?
Jenna Bush Hager has welcomed several different people to co-host Jenna & Friends with her. These include some very famous people. Scarlett Johansson, Wynonna Judd, Taraji P. Henson, Keke Palmer, and Eva Longoria all took a turn. However, a new co-host has won fans over.
This new name rising to the top of the list is former NBA star Dwyane Wade. The three-time NBA Champion with the Miami Heat showed up and had great chemistry with Jenna Bush Hager. He also opened up and showed vulnerability. He talked a bit about his kidney cancer diagnosis, offering powerful advice for others (via CNN).
This led to fans sweeping into the comments to let everyone know that Dwayne Wade needed to return as the permanent co-host alongside Jenna Bush Hager:
- One fan bluntly said that they need the former NBA star back on their TV, writing, “We need Dwayne in our mornings!!”
- Another said that Dwyane was just teasing fans, saying, “Stop playing with us and accept that co-host position!”
- A third even tried out the new name, writing, “Jeanna & Dwyane has a ring to it! You was awesome yesterday and today. I’m thinking @jennaandfriends make you the permanent co host maybeeee???”
This Isn’t The Fans First Pick For Jenna & Friends
While fans want Dwyane Wade as the new permanent host on Jenna & Friends, he isn’t the first name they mentioned, and he won’t be the last. It seems like every week, fans have changed their minds about Jenna’s next BFF.

Last week, fans thought that Heather McMahan was the perfect choice to join The Today Show cast full time. The two had great chemistry, and it seemed that they were the new super duo. A couple of weeks before that, fans said the same thing about Justin Sylvester, saying he was the high-energy partner Jenna needed don’t the show.
Other fans love Keke Palmer and Scarlett Johannson, but those two women are too busy in their acting careers to make the trip to morning talk shows. What is known is that fans love plenty of people working with Jenna Bush Hager, and there is no telling who the next “best” choice will be.
