‘Alaskan Bush People’ Browns Ripped For Stealing Brother’s Money & Erasing Him

The Alaskan Bush People reality TV show premiered in 2014. The series starred Billy Brown, his wife Ami, and their kids. The series then ran for 114 episodes and 14 seasons. In Season 13, Billy Brown died. The final season showed his kids and wife trying to move on without him. However, with the show recently canceled, fans are pointing fingers at the family for betraying one of their own.
Here is what fans are accusing the Brown family of doing.
Alaskan Bush People Fans Say Browns Betrayed Their Brother
The latest complaints from Alaskan Bush People fans came after a sweet post by Bam Bam Brown. The older Brown sibling posted a carousel of photos of his family. He then added his own comments about how important the Brown family is to him. However, one person was missing.

In the caption, Bam had some nice things to say. “Thanks for being fans and honorary members of The Wolfpack for all these years,” he wrote before shilling the family website and what they are selling there. However, when looking through the included photos, Matt wasn’t shown in any of them.
Fans thought it was hypocritical for a family who talks about the importance of family:
- One fan noticed this right away, writing, “Amazing photos of you all, but why isn’t there any of Matt?”
- Another said he was hopeful for the future, writing, “Good luck to you all and I hope that reconciliation with Matt works out as there’s always two sides to every situation.”
- A third fan called out Bam for disrespecting the idea of family, writing, “Apparently you are not a wolf pack and a close family as you left one member out and he is part of this family and the show very disrespectful and sad.”
Why Did Alaskan Bush People Ostracize Matt Brown?
Anyone who has followed the Alaskan Bush People family knew this would likely happen. The Brown family have pushed Matt Brown out of their lives and haven’t been willing to let him in for years. Matt has cleaned himself up and remains sober, but his family wants nothing to do with him.

Bear Brown has previously said that the separation has as much to do with Matt as it does with the rest of the family. At the same time, Birdie Brown said that she has no relationship at all with her older brother and seems fine with that. Matt follows Bam on Instagram and has often “liked” his posts, but it seems Bam doesn’t consider Matt part of the family anymore either.
Matt left the show and his family when he checked into rehab for addiction issues. However, while he has gotten clean, he was also accused of sexual assault by members of the ABP crew. This is likely why he has remained estranged from his brothers, sisters, and mom.
