Good Morning America Welcomed A New Addition To Their Family
Over the years, fans of Good Morning America have noticed the co-hosts appear to be a close-knit group. Often, their bond and personal lives come up on the show. Over the years, the co-hosts have also shared a few milestones with viewers.
Fans of Good Morning America recently had to watch near the very end to learn some exciting news concerning the crew: a new addition. This past Thursday, Roberts made an announcement towards the show’s end.

As Roberts revealed, “Before we skedaddle, we want to introduce a new member of the ABC News family.” She was joined by Michael Strahan, George Stepanopoulos, Lara Spencer, and Ginger Zee. The co-hosts were notably smiling before revealing the big news.
As noted by Hello! Magazine, Yoni Mintz and his wife had just welcomed a baby, named Jonah Kaydan. The Good Morning America crew shared a photo of the newborn.
Ginger Zee also shared, “Congratulations. We are so happy for them. Sending our best wishes to the entire family.”
According to IMDB, Mintz has had a prominent career with the network. Notably, in addition to Good Morning America, he has also worked with ABC News, the Oscars countdown, and 20/20.
For Some, It Was Fitting That Robin Roberts Was The One To Reveal The News
As the publication noted, Roberts is also the one who appears to have the closest bond with her co-anchors. Thanks to this, it seemed all the more fitting that she was the one to announce the news of the new addition to the ABC family.
Speaking with “Candace Parker’s Moments,” Michael Strahan also previously touched on how Roberts helped him with his career in journalism. As he noted, “To be honest with you, I was such a fish out of water that Robin saved me in a lot of ways.”

“I remember being at the Oscars on the red carpet and I was doing Live with Kelly at the time. I had never done an Oscar red carpet. I thought, ‘what am I doing on the red carpet and interviewing people?'”
“Before the stars started coming down the carpet, I was so nervous. And I could see Robin on the red carpet getting ready to do the ABC show.”
“I see her and walk over and give her a hug. I tell her, ‘I’m scared to death. I’m scared’. She just said, ‘You gonna be alright,’ and I said, ‘I really don’t know,’ and she said, ‘Michael. Trust me, you’ll be alright. I came from sports too.’ Just that very simply, ‘I came from sports too,’ made me go, ‘wow, I forgot’.”
