Will CBS Air A New Episode Of Tracker On Oscars Sunday?

On Sunday, March 2 is the Oscars. Everyone will be tuning in to see Conan O’Brien host the Academy Awards. But, what about Tracker fans? Will those who eschew the awards be stuck with a repeat? No, they will not! There will be a brand new Tracker called “Shades Of Gray.” This is the eleventh episode in Season 3. This is the halfway point of the 22-episode season. Most of all, it just returned a couple of weeks ago after a long winter hiatus. It makes no sense to wait another week when the series just gained momentum.

According to TV Insider, the logline for this episode is, “While tracking the son of a prominent New Jersey cupcake chain founder, Colter gets thrust into the middle of a violent mafia war.”

This episode will air on Sunday, March 2, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on CBS. For those viewers who are watching the Oscars, they can stream this episode the next day on Paramount+.

It should be noted that the new Morris Chestnut series Watson, will air right after Tracker at 9 p.m., Eastern, on CBS.

Will Justin Hartley’s Series Return For Season 3?

Just recently, CBS made a big decision. They decided to renew Tracker for Season 3. That means more Colter Shaw adventure stories. Firstly, they need to get through this season. They are still filming in Vancouver. Moreover, there is a hope that both Melissa Roxburgh and Jensen Ackles will be back this season. They portray Dory and Russell Shaw, Colter’s two siblings. Right now, Colter has a lot of questions that need to be answered. They seem to be keeping things from him. Can he get the facts and then determine what happened to their father?

However, it does not seem that Justin Hartley is prepared to end that story this season. He shared, “I don’t like the idea of wrapping things up in a pretty little bow just for the sake of the fact it is the final episode of the season, and so we write to the plot so that everyone’s like, ‘Oh, great, everything’s perfect and fine, and we can go and make a third season.'”

That certainly sounds like we will get more clues in Season 2, but much more on this story in Season 3.
