‘Home Town Takeover’ Reveals Emotional Reunion
Ben and Erin Napier are in Sebring, Florida, for the third season of Home Town Takeover. The couple has recently shared what it was like being in the area and giving back. Recently, HGTV teased a clip of what fans could expect for the upcoming season.
Ben & Erin Napier Made An Appearance At A Florida Elementary School
On Home Town Takeover, a spin-off of HGTV’s Home Town, saw the couple visit different parts of the country. The first season brought them to Alabama while the second season brought them to Colorado.
However, the third season brought them to Sebring, Florida, which had recently been impacted by a hurricane. HGTV later shared a clip of what fans can expect for the third season on Instagram. Notably, the post was also shared by Ben and Erin Napier.
A caption teased, “Here’s a sneak peek at what we have in store for you on this season of #HomeTownTakeover.” The clip opens up with Ben and Erin exiting a car as it cuts to a sign reading Fred Wild Elementary.
Erin shares that, “We are about to surprise Ms. Chauncey Allen. She has no idea that we’re going to renovate her house. She’s about to find out.” The clip that shows Ben and Erin greeting Allen as she appears at the front desk.
Ben could be heard asking, “Is Ms. Allen here?” Erin chimed in, “Can Ms. Allen see us?”
After Allen hugged the two, Allen talked about seeing the two walk up. She shared, I just stopped and was like, ‘Oh my God.” Erin revealed, “We came here because we’re going to renovate your house.” Allen held her mouth in joy as her co-workers cheered her on.
Ms. Allen Also Got A Surprising, & Emotional, Visit
Erin added, “Thank you for everything you do for single parents in the Sebring community. You see first-hand when little ones come to school and they’re struggling. You’re the one who knows and I bet you’re the one they go to when they feel sad or scared.”
“We wanna help you. And make ‘home’ a place you’re proud of and invite people over. And to help these single parents. So now you can do more.”

Allen was so touched by the gesture she went in to give the couple another hug. However, another touching moment was soon to come.
Allen’s daughter appeared on the scene soon after to surprise her mother. As Sebring High School’s website shared, Chauncey is mother to LaTasia Sherrill and Jalia Charlery.
Allen’s daughter shared that, “I was actually at lunch eating and the principal called me and she was like, you need to go down to Fred Wild… So I ran over here and then, there they go, Ben and Erin, come at the front office and I just started bawling.”
As reported by The Highland News-Sun, Jalia also serves as a tutor for the Fred Wild school. At the time, Jalia praised her mother with other loved ones in a statement after being nominated for the Champion for Children Youth Award. She shared, “Just having my family, my mom, my brother, my grandparents, they’re my number one supporters, but also having people within the school support me is such a blessing.”
Allen embraced her daughter as Erin shared the news. “I’m so excited for this opportunity. She deserves it, she works very hard, and I’m excited to see what they’re going to do.”
Chauncey herself ended the video, noting, “Thank you guys so much for what you’re going to do for me and my family. And what you do for so many people around the world. To help small town families. Thank you, thank you.”
