Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin’s wife has been arrested. News broke that Goodwin’s spouse has been accused of a very shocking plot. Thankfully, her plan was spoiled and never carried out. Ghost Adventures Investigator Aaron Goodwin’s Wife Arrested
Victoria Goodwin was taken into custody last week according to TMZ. She was booked on two shocking charges, both involving her husband Aaron Goodwin. According to the report, Victoria was plotting to have Aaron killed. She is being charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
She reportedly was speaking to a Florida inmate and talking about not wanting to be with her husband anymore. However, instead of just asking for a divorce, she wanted to have him murdered.
The police report indicates that she had been texting this Florida inmate and even said, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
She provided all the information the killer would need to know. Victoria gave his location, the times he would be at certain locations in California along with the Ghost Adventures filming schedule. Her plan was to have him killed while he was filming the show with Zak.
Victoria had $11,515 set aside to pay the hitman to end her husband’s life. The inmate was allegedly texting another man who was supposed to carry out the deed in California. One message to the man said, “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”
The near hit occurred back in October. Thankfully, the plan didn’t work out and they were caught. It’s currently unclear what exactly went down with the hitman next. There were text messages regarding a $2,500 upfront payment.
How Police Uncovered The Plot To Kill Aaron
Police found out about the plot to have Aaron Goodwin killed when guards found the inmate’s contraband phone. They were able to see all the messages between Victoria and the inmate as well as the messages to the hitman.
When police arrested Victoria, she denied having any of these plans and said she did not want her husband dead. She claims she was just fantasizing and daydreaming about being without him.
Victoria also says she does not remember sending any of the messages to the inmate. However, when police questioned her about sending him money. She told them she believed the money was for cell phones. Along with that, she did confess that she and Aaron were going through marital issues.
Victoria is being held on a $100,000 bond and is believed to still be in police custody. As for Aaron, he told reporters that he was devastated and very blindsided. He believed he was in a happy marriage. The two were just gushing over each other on social media on Valentine’s Day.
Just one week ago, Victoria shared a photo of her and Aaron snuggling on the couch. His mom commented about how much she loved them and was glad that Victoria found him. She replied saying he’s the best.
