‘The Masked Singer’: Who Is Pearl?
The Masked Singer is back, and fans are wondering who some of the singers are. One of the singers is Pearl, a competitor who debuted on the recent episode of the reality competition series. Pearl was out competing against Bat, Griffin, Space Ranger, and Boogie Woogie.
Here is a look at the clues for Pearl and who we think is behind that mask this season.
Pearl Clues For The Masked Singer
Out of the five performers this week, Bat lost and went home early. That turned out to be Scheana Shay from Vanderpump Rules. Shay sang “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter, and no panelist guessed her identity before she unmasked and shocked them all.
The other competitors were Boogie Woogie (a male), Space Ranger (a male), Griffin (a male), and Pearl (a female). With only one girl left in the group, things might tighten up over the next couple of weeks.
Pearl came out and sang “Saving All My Love For You” by Whitney Houston. That was a daring choice since it is never easy to sing Whitney Houston songs on shows like The Masked Singer. The panelists then made some guesses, as they thought it might be Regina King, Shania Twain, and Joan Jett. Two of those are powerhouse names.
The clues are as follows. “I can tell you that I’ve never dressed this fancy before. Usually, when I’m on the red carpet and they ask me what I’m wearing, I say, I got it on sale,” Pearl said. These are the main clues from the package:
- “Just like a pearl, you have to crack through a tough exterior to find the treasure inside.”
- “Growing up I’ve always loved performing. But people like me weren’t offered a chance at a big break.”
- “I’ve never been able to shake that hard exterior. And it’s affected every aspect of my life. Especially love. But I’m a softie at heart.”
This doesn’t reveal too much, but there are some other hints at who this person might be. If we are correct, then all the panelists are off-base.
Who Is Pearl On The Masked Singer?
It isn’t just what The Masked Singers say that reveals clues. There are also things in the package that give hints as well. Pearl’s package contained lots of clues.
The visual clues included boats in a marina, a baseball, a pink umbrella, and a bowl of cherries.
We think that Pearl on The Masked Singer is Gretchen Wilson. For the baseball clue, Wilson sang the National Anthem at the 2004 World Series. Her version of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” was also an ESPN staple for a few years. She has songs titled “When it Rains” and “Raining on Me,” which tie into the umbrella. The cherries could tie into her collaboration with Buckcherry.
