Lala Kent Gives Shocking Custody Update
When Lala Kent started dating a mystery married man in Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules, everyone was suspicious. Although she claimed she did not have a married boyfriend, Randall Emmett was still wed to Ambyr Childers. He had two daughters with Ambyr but was able to keep Lala somewhat in the dark with lavish gifts and a nice lifestyle. By Season 8, he was appearing on the hit Bravo series regularly as he and Lala were now engaged. They went on to have a baby girl, Ocean, who was featured in Season 9. Unfortunately, things took a turn when he was caught cheating on Lala.
They broke up and she learned a lot of sketchy things regarding Randall and his life. She even discovered her engagement ring was not legit. A documentary uncovering many of his wrongdoings in Hollywood came out all while he and Lala were battling over custody. She made sure that all of her co-stars knew that hanging out with Randall was a quick way for them to be eliminated from her life. Lala made the decision to have a second child on her own and one reason she gave was she did not want to have to share her baby.

Now, she is giving an update on her custody battle after three years of struggling. During an Amazon Live on Tuesday, March 4th, Lala Kent confirmed her custody battle had been settled. According to Page Six, she had this to say:
“You guys, the custody battle is over. It’s officially ended. We’re done with it, so there’s my tea for the day.”
She did not get into details but did share this Insight:
“After over three years, we have signed an agreement that is best for our daughter, Ocean. So I’m very, very happy about that.”
An Uphill Battle
Lala Kent has been fiercely working to protect Ocean, who will be four this month. She wanted to ensure that everything was amicable and fair which was not easy. However, Lala did note that she and Randall Emmett are at a better place for Ocean which is great news. Things have shifted dramatically for Lala over the last several months. It was announced that Vanderpump Rules would be rebooted for Season 12 after being put on hiatus. During the Season 11 reunion, Lala made it clear that the show was what put food on her table and it was very offputting.
Fortunately, she has been able to make appearances on Season 2 of The Valley and has her podcast going. There was some speculation as to why her assistant, Jessica Walter abruptly left the pod. In any case, Lala now has settled one of her biggest burdens.
Can you believe it took three years for the custody battle to end? More so, do you think Lala and Randall will be amicable for the long haul? Let us know in the comments below.
