“He’s like a quiet, reserved person and he figured if he ever got out there in that, he’d never get a minute’s peace and he’s right about that. I’ve always respected and appreciated that in him, and I’ve always tried to keep him out of the limelight as much as I can.”

“He [Carl] said, ‘I didn’t choose this world, I chose you, and you chose that world. But we can keep our lives separate and together.’ And we do and we have.”

According to Vocal, Dean’s official cause of death has not officially been revealed as of yet. However, the publication noted, “Sources close to the family indicate that he had been battling age-related health issues for some time.”

As Dean was known for living a private life, there hasn’t been too much information shared about his medical history. The publication also noted that speculation concerning Dean’s health has been going on for years. As noted by The U.S. Sun, Dean was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease back in 2019.
