‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Willie Robertson Talks Phil’s Alzheimer’s Battle
Willie Robertson has spoken out about his dad Phil’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. The Duck Dynasty star wanted to let the show’s fans know how his dad was doing and to pump up his father’s status among the family members. Willie also had a rough statement about Phil’s medical condition on top of the Alzheimer’s.

Willie Robertson Talks Phil’s Alzheimer’s Diagnosis
The Duck Dynasty family announced the sad news that Phil Robertson had developed Alzheimer’s disease. On top of that, he was also dealing with a blood disorder. This is making things tough for the Robertson patriarch, and his family has come out to talk about his meaning in their lives.
Willie is the latest person to reach out to fans and talk about his dad, Phil, and what he means to him. Willie did this on Instagram with a post that didn’t have a photo but six screens of a written message about his father. In the caption, Willie wrote, “Some words about my dad, Phil, and the life he has lived and continues to live. Thank you for the outpouring of love and prayers.”
In the long post, he talked about how all the “the lovely words and talks of his accolades” make it sound like Phil had died. However, he emphasized that Phil was still alive and could still communicate with people. However, he has slowed down and can’t process things as fast as he used to.
“A true legend throughout his life, he somehow is still a legend, even in his humbled state,” Willie said at the end of his message.
