Jonathon Johnson Wants Huge Change To ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

BIP Returns After Pause
Bachelor Nations fans were devastated last year to find out that Bachelor In Paradise wasn’t on the fall 2024 schedule. Instead, ABC aired the first season of The Golden Bachelorette with Joan Vassos.
However, ABC assured fans that the popular beachy spinoff would return in 2025. They revealed in August that Jenn Tran’s eliminated suitor, Jonathon Johnson, was heading to the beach for another chance at love. Bachelor Nation fans were initially hoping Jenn Tran and Jonathon Johnson would start dating after her engagement to Devin Strader ended. However, she began a romance with her Dancing With The Stars partner Sasha Farber instead.
ABC has yet to reveal when exactly Bachelor In Paradise will air. It’s likely to return to TV this fall with Jonathon Johnson and some of the women from Season 29 of The Bachelor.
Jonathon Johnson Suggests Huge Change To Bachelor In Paradise
ABC recently put The Bachelorette on pause for this year, causing fans to suggest the franchise needs an overhaul. Jonathon Johnson is more than happy to be on BIP this year. However, he has an idea of how the show can improve a little.
He took to Instagram to share his idea with fans. Jonathon Johnson suggested that instead of using “Almost Paradise” by Mike Reno and Ann Wilson as a theme song for BIP, each contestant should get their own intro song.
“Okay, here me out… Instead of the old ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ intro, we let everyone pick their own walk-out song like it’s a boxing match and see how that goes. And don’t worry, I made examples,” he wrote on the social media post.
He shared video clips of his proposed openings, including an “f-boy” and a “heartbreaker.” But he saved the best for last. The last clip was him walking onto the beach in the hospital gown with a peach emoji over his butt. It was a call back to the same way he entered Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette.

Fans React To His Idea
Jonathon Johnson regularly posts funny videos on social media. His followers loved his suggestion for different theme songs, even if it was a joke.

But one follower took the opportunity to give the reality star some advice before Bachelor In Paradise. They wrote, “Are you getting ready for paradise? Please don’t settle if she makes you laugh and you feel like you just can’t live without that girl, then that’s the one you need…”
