Let Bygones Be Bygones?

During the February 20 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian was readying North West to have her debut act with Disney. Kim shares four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West, with her ex-husband, Kanye West. While their oldest, North, was jumping at the opportunity to sing in Hollywood Bowl’s performance of The Lion King in May, Kim was wondering if it was a good decision. But through the process, she revealed the closeness that she and Kanye share.

Previously, Kim Kardashian revisited the heartache she had from her relationship with Kanye West. However, she is determined to move forward. But Kanye hasn’t been making it easy for the public to like him lately. Not only does it appear he coaxed Bianca Censori into using her body as his artwork, but he also has stuck to his guns with racist statements. However, in the latest episode, Kim praises Kanye for their closeness.

While she was fretting about watching her eleven-year-old be subjected to criticism on the world stage, Kanye showed up. He was there for his daughter during rehearsals and at the performance. Furthermore, he even recommended they “change the graphics” during one rehearsal. Kim backs him up, saying, “Of course, of course. And I just look at them, and I’m like, ‘It will be a better production [if you take his notes].” Although Kanye has blasted Kim on social media many times, Kim reveals they have a great relationship for the benefit of the kids. She said, “Kanye and I want the best for the kids.” Then, she shares, “And so anytime we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes.”

Kanye West Didn’t Make It Easy

During the February 13 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian was comforting Khloe Kardashian about Lamar Odom. She also revealed the catalyst for her divorce from Kanye West was a major personality shift. But even with Kanye dragging through social media, Kim understands that co-parenting needs to be what is best for the kids. While it would be easy to push each other away, Kim is happy to have a “chill” relationship with Kanye that embraces their children’s well-being. Undoubtedly, she is glad Kanye is present for North. Additionally, she is extremely proud of her as well. Kim says, “It’s such a proud moment as a mom to see your child have so much fun and not be nervous at all.”
