‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic Begs President Trump For Pardon
Tiger King star, Joe ‘Exotic’ Maldonado is begging President Donald Trump for a pardon so he can finally be released from prison. He has been trying to get out from the moment he was put behind bars. Yet, he now has an even bigger reason and he is pleading with the sitting president. Keep reading for more details.
Joe Exotic Begs President Trump For Pardon
Tiger King captivated the world in 2020 and was a huge binge for many who were trapped at home during the pandemic. Seeing people obsessed with tigers willing to go to great lengths to capture and keep them as pets or show animals somehow was the most fascinating thing in the world. So was the rivalry between the Tiger King himself, Joe ‘Exotic’ Maldonado, and Carole Baskin. They both wanted to take each other down. However, Carole seemed to have some skeletons in her closet.
Her husband, Don Lewis had gone missing but it was alleged that she may have killed him. She disputed this but she was not one to be messed with. Carole was always going after Joe and vice versa. He was eventually convicted of murder-for-hire in 2019 as he allegedly wanted her dead. There were also supposed crimes against animals but either way, he headed to jail. While in prison, Joe met a man that he fell in love with. This will be his third marriage as Joe was previously married to Travis Maldonado, who died by accidental gunshot.

He then wed Dillon Passage but they filed for divorce in 2021 after three years. Most recently, Joe Exotic shared that he had met and fallen for Jorge Marquez, 33. The two are engaged because Jorge is from Mexico and they are seeking asylum. If that does not happen, Joe will leave the country but he is currently serving a 21-year sentence. Therefore, he took to his Facebook page to peg President Trump for a Pardon:
“You know giving up 7 years of my life to find this amazing man is worth it. Now I need everyone to scream to President Donald J. Trump to let me go and live my life with him.”

Tiger King fans were shocked that Joe Exotic was able to use social media so much while locked up. However, he made his presence known and many people were behind him and his cause:

It appears that he still has a lot of fans who want to see him happy. They feel that he has done his time and he should be able to move on with his life. More so, they appear to really like Jorge and think he may be good for Joe.
