Family Feud host Steve Harvey typically tries to keep things pretty cordial with contestants on the game show set. However, there are some instances where even he has to switch from pleasantries to insults, which happened recently in scenes.

One of the many draws of the show is, viewers never know what survey questions will come up on any given episode of the popular game show. Going in hand with that, viewers also don’t know what kind of answers these survey questions will inspire.
This sets the stage for the feeling that anything can happen whenever people tune in for Family Feud, and it’s this unpredictability that certainly keeps viewers coming back for more. Sometimes, the answers are so wild and unexpected that they make their way into viral clips that the show shares on social media, and people get a kick out of these.
Steve Harvey Insults Player For Crazy Answer
In recent Family Feud scenes, Steve Harvey asked the survey question: “name a bird that’s also the name of a sports team.” Right out of the gate, this should not be a difficult question on paper. There are the New Orleans Pelicans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Atlanta Hawks, and more.
However, a recent family member in Family Feud scenes did not get the memo, apparently. Instead, this recent player said: “Jets?”
Not surprisingly, host Steve Harvey was beside himself over this answer, responding with: “A what?”
Instead of backing down, this game show contestant leaned in, repeating the answer once more.
This time around, Steve repeated the answer, making sure he heard it correctly, before saying: “You just… see, right now, you just naming something that fly.”
Family Feud Fans Roast Player For Absurd Answer
As hilarious as this recent viral moment is, fans were quick to roast this recent player for this crazy answer. Based on recent comments from viewers, Steve Harvey was not the only one dumbfounded by this recent response on the show.
While these types of clips are exactly what makes the show worth watching, the sheer insanity of it all often takes many by surprise, not just the fan-favorite host.
