Kanye West Defends Diddy Goes On ‘Free Puff’ Tirade

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been the subject of various headlines following his September arrest. However, the mogul has recently got a new defender: Kanye West. The latter rapper and record producer recently took to social media to show support for Diddy while he’s currently behind bars.

Kanye West Started His Defense Of Diddy With Two Words

Following his September indictment, Sean “Diddy” Combs has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Following multiple failed bail proposals, its is believed Combs will remain behinds bars until his upcoming trial on May 5, 2025.

Since his arrest, Combs has been the subject of various accusations. However, one figure has recently come out in defense of the mogul: rapper Kanye West.

Currently one of the best-selling musicians of his time, West is known for a variety of albums and singles, including “Gold Digger,” “Stronger,” and “E.T.” In addition, when it comes to his personal life, West is also known for his relationships with media personality Kim Kardashian and Bianca Censori.

Over the years, however, West has also become known for his outspoken views. Earlier this week, as noted by TMZ, West, also known as “Ye,” took to X, formerly Twitter, writing, “Free Puff.” “Puff” serves as one of Combs’ various aliases, in addition to Diddy.

As the publication noted, West later followed up on his X post, writing, “They tryna prove a point and y’all know that. Y’all f****** know that and sitting, laughing at the f****** internet on Instagram. This man gave his life to us. This is my idol, this is my hero.”

West Later Shared An Instagram Post Involving Diddy’s Son, Christian

“What y’all gone do? Cancel my sneaker deal? Cancel my record deal? Freeze my accounts?…Slavery is a choice. I’m speaking my mind. Now, I ain’t editing s*** again ever.”

However, West soon continued this with other posts. In one, he called out other celebrities, claiming they let “our brother rot and never say s***.” West later took to Instagram where he shared a video of him hosting a FaceTime call with Combs’ son, Christian.

In the caption, West wrote, “A son to his dad. For every son [whose] dad is locked, [right] or wrong, I want y’all to listen to Dave Chapelle’s jokes very close. This time, let’s see how funny it gets when families are separated, especially black families.”

Notably, Diddy himself is one of two people West is currently following on Instagram. This is in addition to Censori.
