Gayle King Called Out For ‘Objectifying’ Guest During Interview
Gayle King has a confident and relaxed relationship with most of her guests on CBS Mornings. However, in a recent episode, some fans felt she was a little too comfortable. They have accused her of “objectifying” a male guest on the show and called her out on it on social media.
Here is who Gayle was interviewing and why some fans felt that she took things too far.
Gayle King Interviews Morris Chestnut On CBS Mornings
Gayle King was interviewing actor Morris Chestnut on CBS Mornings. She then also asked him some questions for Oprah Today. During the interview, she took the time to read Morris some tweets people had made about him throughout the years. They were all thrist tweets with people complimenting his good looks.

This moment was one where people online referred to Morris Chestnut as “90s fine.” She then went on to read a huge list of tweets that people made about Morris, showing how hot they feel he is.
One woman wrote that her “granny,” “mama,” and she found him “fine af.” They finished by saying that it doesn’t happen often. They finished by admitting that “God really took his time on that masterpiece.”
Other tweets that Gayle read said:
- “Morris Chestnut really been fine our whole lives.”
- “Morris Chestnut being that fine should be against the law.”
- “Good LAWD! Morris Chestnut has been fine his WHOLE life.”
Gayle King called the last tweet her favorite. She then admitted that the tweets are “hilarious” and “very honest” regarding the actor. Morris took everything in good form, although it was clear that he was kind of embarrassed by the non-stop flattery about his good looks.
