Heidi Montag Joining ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’?

As Heidi Montag’s music career is making a comeback, her fans want her to join a reality TV show. Heidi is up to it but her husband, Spencer Pratt, has a lot to say about the situation. This brings up past comments made by Andy Cohen about the star that will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Spencer Pratt Upset With Andy Cohen
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are making headlines over a potential appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As Heidi’s music career is making a comeback, fans have been suggesting she should join the show. However, Spencer quickly shut down any idea of his wife holding a diamond on the popular franchise. Responding to fans on social media, Spencer dismissed the suggestion, saying, “No thanks,” and later mocked the idea. He referenced a past comment made by Andy Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live.
Pratt was referring to a 2011 incident when Cohen made harsh comments about Heidi. Calling her “trash” and claiming he would rather “stab knives into my own eyes” than see her join The Real Housewives. Cohen later apologized for the comment, admitting it was “tasteless.” In response to a fan’s suggestion that he and Heidi would be “lucky” to appear on Cohen’s show. Spencer fired back, saying he would rather sit in the rubble of his burned-down home than face Cohen’s judgment.

Heidi Disagrees With Husband Spencer
Despite Spencer’s strong reaction, Heidi has expressed a more positive view of the possibility. She addressed Cohen’s past remarks in a 2023 interview, saying she felt his judgment was wrong. She argued that at 37 years old and a mother, she would be a perfect fit for The Real Housewives franchise. Heidi added that she could see herself joining. Either The Real Housewives of Orange County or Beverly Hills, suggesting her reality TV background and experience could make her a good match for the shows.
In response, Cohen stood by his previous comments, explaining on his SiriusXM show. That while he doesn’t have any animosity toward the couple, he doesn’t see Heidi as fitting into the Housewives world. He compared her situation to Snooki’s potential role on the show. Saying it would be strange for someone so closely associated with another network and another reality show to join The Real Housewives. Cohen added that his hesitation wasn’t because of any personal dislike for Montag. Rather the fact that her identity is closely tied to The Hills, which aired on MTV.

With tension still simmering, it seems unlikely Heidi and Spencer will be joining The Real Housewives or appearing on Cohen’s show anytime soon. While Heidi remains open to the idea, Pratt is clearly not having it, and Cohen seems firm in his stance against their role in the Housewives franchise.
