Spencer Pratt Makes Shocking Amount Off TikTok After Home Burns Down

TV personality Spencer Pratt recently lost his home to the recent Los Angeles wildfires. The reality star recently took to social media to talk about loss and how he supports himself. While doing so, he revealed a surprising amount of money he earns on TikTok.
Spencer Pratt & His Parents Both Lost Their Houses To The Wildfires
Pratt became known to audiences through the reality series The Hills. The series showcased his relationship with Heidi Montag, whom he married in 2008.
Before appearing on The Hills, Pratt had appeared on The Princes of Malibu. Pratt and Montag also notably appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Marriage Boot Camp, and Celebrity Big Brother.

As noted by Variety, the couple was recently impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. The two lost their home in Pacific Palisades.
As the publication noted, Pratt shared that both his house and his parents’ house were lost to the fires. He had also posted videos of the evacuation and further damage done to the property, as recorded by security footage.
As the star wrote on TikTok, it isn’t easy for everyone to bounce back from the fires. He shared, “I know people are like, ‘You’re rich, you will be fine.’ Yeah, I wish. Everything in our house was paid for by Heidi and I hustling any way we could.”
“Everything we have worked for was in this house… We are starting at zero now.”
Following this, Pratt began posting more and more on the platform. This caused his follower count to increase over a million more since the fire started, hitting two million by Friday. While doing os, he also made sure to promote Montag’s music.
Pratt admitted he’s not sure how much money these promotions will make. As he noted, “I have no idea how much money [the music has made]. I don’t know if it comes in checks or when, but everybody keeps telling me, don’t expect any money. I’m more excited about the energy and opportunities that come from it. I don’t think these streams and all these charts [make money].”
Pratt Might Have A Low RPM, But He Has One Thing In His Corner
However, Pratt has a few other sources of income: creating online videos. However, his revenue is only around 10 cents per one thousand views.
Pratt noted, “I heard that last night at 3 a.m. and I was like, awesome. I’ve never been so excited to get a million followers in a week. I think I would be making more money with my following, and just being engaged.”
However, Pratt revealed that individual support proved to be more lucrative. He revealed, “I made, like, $4,000 on TikTok this week, but on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think maybe $20,000. So that’s phenomenal, and life-changing.”
“That’s the power of individual supporters. People just backing you and getting behind you.”
“And that’s the most powerful when you don’t have to rely on ads or AI and algorithms when just actual human beings just want to give. It’s unbelievable and incredible.”
