‘WCTH’ Season 12: Kavan Smith Warns Lee & Lucas Have Many Differences

WCTH Season 12 includes a lot of strife between two main characters, Lee and Lucas. This is not unlike what Rosemary and Elizabeth went through a few years back. However, this is more than a difference of opinion. This is politics. Lee is working for Governor Bouchard, but what happens when their visions of Hope Valley do not align?
Kavan Smith gives Hearties some insights into what they should expect this season.

WCTH Season 12 Features Lee And Lucas Fighting
WCTH is a show about love. However, that does not mean it is strife-free. Kavan Smith has warned that in this season, Lee and Lucas are not getting along as they should. This is after Lucas convinces Lee to join his team. When six When Calls The Heart stars attended the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, they participated in some panels. In one of those panels that was shared on Instagram, Kavan talked about the strife. He shared that his character and Chris McNally’s character “get tested a little bit.”
When it was pitched to me, I loved the idea. Chris and I are actually really close friends. I loved the idea.

Smith reminded Hearties that this had happened before with Elizabeth and Rosemary. He added that with the guys, it was “everybody gets along.” This time, Kavan was presented with the idea that “maybe” they don’t always get along. He was game to “explore” this idea.” Best of all, “Because he and I are such good friends, it is fun to play those scenes.” Yes, they are having a blast fighting for the cameras.

How To Watch WCTH Season 12
There are now three ways to watch WCTH Season 12. Firstly, on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern. Next, Hearties who have a Peacock subscription can stream new episodes up to 72 hours after the premiere. Lastly, Hallmark+ drops new episodes on Monday.
