‘MAFS’ Season 18 On Break: When Does It Return?
Married at First Sight aired its ninth episode of Season 18 and won’t be on again for the rest of 2024. This might have come as a shock to many MAFS fans, but the show will be back soon. With the second half of the season still ready for viewers to anxiously await, the rest of the episodes will arrive in 2025.
Here is a look at when Married at First Sight will be back to finish off Season 18.
When Will MAFS Return From Its Season 18 Hiatus?
Married at First Sight aired its ninth episode, and nothing followed the next week. This was a tough time to take a break since the five couples had just gotten married and had started the honeymoon phase in Mexico. They then returned home and the marriages began falling apart.
However, fans will have to wait a little while longer to see how bad things get for most of the couples. After the last episode ended, Lifetime put Married at First Sight on break until after the holidays. This means that there won’t be another new episode until January 2025. That is because this week is Christmas Eve, and next week is New Year’s Eve.
MAFS will be back on Lifetime on Tuesday, January 7.
What To Expect When MAFS Returns
Before the break, one of the marriages hit disaster early on, and the honeymoon was a disaster. This was because Michelle learned that David was still living with his parents. That was a red flag she couldn’t get over, and it ruined their entire honeymoon and, eventually, their relationship.
When the five couples returned home, David and Michelle’s marriage was over before it could move forward. Things also seemed strange for Karla and Juan when she showed him a storage unit instead of her home. She claims her lease expired when it was time to start the reality TV show, so she chose not to renew it before going on the show.
Allen and Madison might not last either after she admitted she wasn’t attracted to him. Allen is trying, but it might not be enough. Emem and Ikechi seem to be struggling. Fans seem to hate the groom and have made it clear they want her to leave him. Ikechi says Emem makes him uncomfortable with her advances, so they are not likely to last either.
Of all the MAFS Season 18 couples, only Thomas and Camille seem to be making things work. They are also the only couple that is known to have remained married on Decision Day, so the journey there will start again in 2025.
