Jay-Z’s Ex-Lover Delivers Shocking Words Amid Rape Scandal
Jay-Z is at the start of a huge court battle with a woman accusing him of sexual assault. The woman has accused Jay-Z of sexually assaulting her when she was 13 and was at a party with him and Sean “Diddy” Combs. She also says an unnamed woman was there watching the assault take place. Jay-Z has countersued the woman and her attorney, Tony Buzbee.
Now, his ex-girlfriend has chimed in on the allegations and had some surprising things she said.
What Did Jay-Z’s Ex-Girlfriend Say About Assault Allegations?
The sexual assault reportedly happened in 2000 when the accuser was 13. her attorney, Tony Buzbee, sent a letter to Jay-Z concerning their plans for the lawsuit, and the rap producer immediately sued Buzbee for “extortion.” However, that didn’t stop him from starting the case against the celebrity.
Carmen Bryan spoke up after the allegations went public and the lawsuits began. Carmen dated the rap legend before he was with Beyonce. She previously claimed she was pregnant with his child. However, he says he is innocent and plans to show that Buzbee is in the wrong with this lawsuit.
With that said, Carme took to her social media and posted something that seemed aimed at he ex and the allegations on Instagram Stories. She wrote: “These days people don’t defend what is right, they defend who they like! – And that’s why we call you ‘groupie'” (via The Express).
Carmen, who also once dated Nas, posted a snapshot that played Jay-Z’s lyrics from his song “Monster” with Kanye West. The lyrics included, “Kill a block, I murder the avenues, I rape and pillage your village, women and children.”
Carmen Bryan Details Her Relationship With Jay-Z
Carmen Bryan has been open about her relationship with Jay-Z. She claimed that she started dating Jay-Z when she was with Nas. She then claims that she was in a five-year secret affair with him and that he got her pregnant. She says she miscarried the baby.
“I believe I was three months, it was the first trimester. It wasn’t anything crazy, it wasn’t planned. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh we are going to have this baby’,” she said. Carmen also said that she only told Jay-Z about her pregnancy after the miscarriage occurred.
While Tony Buzbee and his client claim Jay-Z is guilty and his ex-girlfriend seems to have her suspicions, he still proclaims his innocence.
“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!” he said. “Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.”
