According to The Futon Critic, the holidays are coming fast and Zoe needs to have the perfect holiday season. However, things are not going well with her relationship.
Therefore, she writes to “Dear Adora,” the advice columnist. Zoe gets a response and follows this expert to a T. However, things don’t go well. Her boyfriend dumps her. The advice has backfired on her and Zoe wants to talk to Adora to tell her how she let her down. Adora’s advice was the worst advice ever given. Now, her life is a total mess.
But, there is a surprising twist. When Zoe shows up to confront Adora, she meets Adam. It turns out that Adam has a very big secret. He is Adora. Zoe is furious. Yet, she realizes that Adam can help her. She promises to keep his secret if he agrees to attend some Christmas-themed events with her.
Soon, they are decorating yule logs, and decorating for the holidays. The time breezes by as they enjoy a cornucopia of festivities that brings joy to the season. Moreover, Zoe’s life starts to be better. Besides, it turns out that Adam is pretty fun. Zoe finds that she no longer misses her ex-boyfriend. She even begins to realize that he is far from perfect. Maybe Adora’s advice was right? But, can she admit that to Adam?
