Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Have Huge ‘Festive’ Arguments
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have always remained open and honest with fans. On Live with Kelly and Mark, they are sometimes a little too open about their home life. This happened again this week when the couple discussed some of their arguments, especially during the holiday season.
Here is what Kelly and Mark say they are arguing about now.
Kelly Ripa Admits She & Mark Consuelos Have Holiday Arguments
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos returned from their Thanksgiving break and had a lot to say about their disagreements over the holiday weekend. They spoke out about it on the Monday episode of their morning talk show and said there are good parts about having a full house for the holiday. However, there are also tough moments.
“All the kids home, all the roommates,” Kelly said about the Thanksgiving celebration. They had Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21, all there with their friends. “A lot of fun,” she admitted (via PEOPLE).
Mark agreed and said there were “a lot of laughs.” However, Kelly then piped in and said, “A lot of festive arguments.”
That is when Mark and Kelly started discussing what they were arguing about, especially during the Thanksgiving holiday when family and friends were in attendance.
“He shows up as an honored guest at Thanksgiving,” Kelly said. She then joked that Mark just assumes the food will “materialize.” She then said that Mark would complain to her because there was “too much butter in the mashed potatoes.” She emphasized that he does nothing to help when cooking the food for the holiday. However, he has no problem complaining about it.
Mark Consuelos Snaps Back At Kelly Ripa On Live
Mark Consuelos wasn’t going to let that rest. He said, “Well, do we want to talk about that, or should we just let you say that?” Kelly admitted she put a chunk of butter on top and expected it to melt down.
Mark asked, “Did it?” Kelly wasn’t finished yet, saying, “You, without looking, just took your scoop, scooped up the pat of butter, and put it on your plate and then complained to me.” Mark then admitted he waited until seven minutes into the dinner and then complained about it passive-aggressively.
“And I go to her, ‘Did you put any butter in this?’ And I show it to her. Only after 28 years of marriage could you get away with, ‘Did you put butter in this?’” Mark said, joking. He said the block of butter was about the size of his hand.
Kelly felt he should man the pizza oven later on the weekend. She said he knew how to use it but then “became so moody.” She said he wouldn’t even try and ended up making “Soup Pizza.”
